Ishpeming- Eugene P. "Butch" Argall, age 73, longtime area resident passed away Tuesday October 8, 2018 at UP Health System Marquette while in the loving care of his family and hospital staff.

Eugene Was born on April 23, 1945 in Negaunee to the late Eugene and Betty (Lee) Argall. He grew up in the Negaunee area and was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Eugene loved driving truck, especially talking with his trucking buddies where he was better known as "Geno". He enjoyed camping, racing cars at the Sands Speedway and Thunder Valley, and NASCAR where he enjoyed taking trips to Michigan International Speedway for races.

Eugene is survived by his wife of 47 years Pauline (Linna) Argall, children: Brenda Argall, Brian Argall, Misty (Rick) Argall, Nathan (Stacie) Argall, Darin Argall, siblings: Victoria (Joe) Brady, Daniel (Sharon) Argall, Jeffery (Kathy) Argall, Debra (Dean) Luplow, grandchildren: Jessica Argall, Brian Argall, Kyle (Kim) Argall, Macie Morrison, Summer Argall, Nathan Jr. (Faith) Argall, Luke (Tianna Hugh) Argall, Amanda Argall, Ashleigh Aragll, Tiffany Argall, Justice Argall, Jazmen Argall, Sara Argall, Allen Argall, Leasa Clark, AJ Smith, great grandchildren: Miles Argall, Landen Argall, Tyler Argall, Landen Hall, Trinity Leeman. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: John and Peter Argall, son Jamie Argall, and great granddaughter Serenity Rose Argall.

Eugene's family will greet relatives and friends at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Negaunee on Friday October 12, 2018 from 10:00am until the time of his Memorial Service at 11:00am. Pastor Steven J. Solberg will officiate the service. A potluck luncheon will follow the memorial service in the church hall. Interment will take place in the Negaunee Cemetery.
