Republic - Elna H. (Pantti) Warren, age 98, passed away on Monday October 15, 2018 at Eastwood Nursing Center, Negaunee, Michigan. Elna was a life-long Marquette County resident having lived in Republic and Marquette.

Elna was born in Republic, Michigan on December 13, 1919, the 6 ^th daughter of the late Solomon W. and Mary (Palo) Koski. Elna was a 1938 graduate of Republic High School; a life-long member of Bethany Lutheran Church where she was active in a women's circle, quilting group, and helped assemble the parish paper. Elna was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.

Elna is survived by four children: Karen (Jerry) Feist of Cumming, GA; Bruce (Vickie) Pantti, Republic, MI; Clarice Champion, Ishpeming; Thomas R. Warren, Pearl, MS; daughter-in-law Mabel Warren, Kenner, LA; son-in-law: Vic Hansen, Babylon, NY. Twelve grandchildren: Jenny and Heidi of GA; Delcene, Mark, and Scott of WI; Erik of IL; Vicki Lynn of NY; Paula, Grace, Ocelia, Nathaniel, and Kelly of LA, 19 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Elna was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Wilfred J. Pantti in 1963; second husband Thomas H. Warren in 2001, son-in-law Daryl Champion, daughter Sherrill Hansen and grandson Tommy Warren. One brother George H. Koski; eight sisters: Sylvia Kujala, Sigrid Peterson, Elsie Sirvio, Irene Garrity, Helga Imburgia, Irma Wuorenmaa, Ruth Warmanen-Hall, and Norma Bonnett. At the time of Elna's passing she was the longest living of the Koski family.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 1-2pm on Monday October 22, 2018 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm on Monday with the Rev. Kevin Kaiser to officiate.  Interment will take place at the Republic Cemetery

The family wishes to thank the staff and caregivers at Eastwood for the compassionate care given their mother and grandmother over the years.
