Obituary
Ishpeming- Edward J. Seem, age 72, Ishpeming resident passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility where he had been a resident for the past 2 years.
Edward was born on April 16, 1940 in Ishpeming to the late Martin & Clara (Heard) Seem. Ed graduated from Ishpeming High School, class of 1958. He worked for Cleveland Cliffs and later worked construction. He enjoyed spending time at camp: fishing and boating.
Ed is survived by 2 daughters: Heidi Metz and Heather (Ben) Scanlon both of Latrobe, PA, a sister Irene (Dave) Portale of Champion, 7 grandchildren, 2 nieces Lisa (Troy) Mattson, Kristen (K.C.) Bjorne and a nephew David Portale.
A private inurnment service will be held at a later date.
