Buckeye, AZ - Edith Trewartha, age 97, formerly of Ishpeming passed on Tues, August 17, 2010 in Buckeye, Az. She was born In Ishpeming and attended schools there. Edith worked for the H. W. Gossard Factory in Ishpeming. She married Clifford Trewartha in 1935 and became a homemaker. Clifford died in 1993 after 58 years of marriage. She was a member of the Community Church of Buckeye.

Edith is survived by two daughters - Jean Novak of Buckeye, AZ and Carol (Tom) Marten of Cambridge, MN, a brother Marvin (Ruth) Dobson of Ishpeming, 8 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Cliff, son-in law Richard Novak and a great granddaughter Samantha Novak, 6 brothers and one sister.

A memorial service will be held Sat. Sept 4, 2010 at 11 am at the Community Church of Buckeye with Pastor Bob Lind officiating. Inurnment will be at the Ishpeming Cemetery, where a graveside service will be held at a later date.
