Obituary
Negaunee Twp- Earl A. St.Germain, age 68 of 200 Midway Dr. Negaunee, passed away Monday, February 14, 2011 at the Mather Nursing Center in Ishpeming.
Earl was born June 26, 1942 in Baraga, MI to Earl and Margaret (Saladin) St. Germain. Earl has lived in Negaunee since 1974 when he started his own business, St. Germain Sandblasting. Earl also worked for the Operating Engineers Union Local 324 before starting his own business. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Big Bay Sportsman Club and the Negaunee Rod & Gun Club. Earl also enjoyed going to the casino.
Earl is survived by his wife Sharon (Barber) St. Germain, whom he married November 4, 1961, 3 children: Patrick (Terry) St. Germain of Negaunee Twp, Todd (Jan) St. Germain of Palmer and Lana (Ryan) Tappy of Marquette, a sister, Margaret Smith of Gwinn, 9 grandchildren: Ryan St. Germain, Bradley St. Germain, Brittany Hewitt, Morgan Hewitt, Joshua St. Germain, Kelly St. Germain, Ethan St. Germain, Spencer Tappy and Evelyn Tappy, 1 great granddaughter Julianne Yohe, a niece Margaret (Earl) Brady, and a nephew Gerald Lancour.
A memorial service will be held 4:00PM Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with Fr. Greg Heikkala officiating.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home on Friday from 3:00PM until the time of service at 4:00PM.
