Ishpeming – Dwayne P. Kaukola, age 41, of Ishpeming passed away on Sunday July 31, 2016 as the result of an accident.

Dwayne was born May 11, 1975 in Marquette the son of Robert J. and Ruby M. Kaukola. Dwayne was a graduate of the Ishpeming High School class of 1994. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Dwayne spent most of his life living in Ishpeming where in high school he enjoyed playing football and was an avid wrestler. He enjoyed playing his guitar and had a true love for music. Dwayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his girls.

Surviorvs include his parents, 3 children – Kayla Kaukola, Korey Kaukola, and Kadie Kaukola, his brother Daniel (Allison) Kaukola of Mammouth, CA, his sister Denise Kaukola, Nieces and Nephews Finley Ryder, Noah, David, Hope, and Elaina, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dwayne was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, along with several aunts and uncles.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Bethany Lutheran Church on Friday August 5, 2016 from 10:00am until 11:00am. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am on Friday with the Rev. Warren Geier to officiate. A luncheon will follow the services in the church hall.
