Obituary
Royal Oak, MI – Dorothy E. Robinson, age 83, longtime Royal Oak resident passed away on Monday September 28, 2009 at the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette where she resided for the past 4 years.
Dorothy was born April 13, 1926 in Detroit, MI the daughter of the late Fred C. and Mildred M. (Juergens) Bode. Dorothy was a graduate of the Southeastern High School, Class of 1945 and married the late Robert Robinson on Sept. 11, 1948. Dorothy worked as a sales clerk for J.L. Hudson's in Detroit for several years. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a brother Richard H. Bode of Lady Lake, FL, 2 nephews – Donald (Linda) Bode of Negaunee and Dale (Debbie) Bode of Wixom, and a wonderful dear friend Miss Christine E. Campbell of Royal Oak, MI.
Inurnment will take place at the Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak, MI, with memorial services to take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans at 425 Fisher St., Marquette, MI 49855.
