Obituary
Ely Twp. - Dora B. (Brown) Feldbauer, age 91, of 36788 Co Rd 581, Ishpeming, passed away at 9:30PM, Thursday, July 16th, 2009 peacefully at her home.
Dora was born in National Mine, Michigan on February 16, 1918, the daughter of the late William and Ruby (Olmstead) Brown. She was a 1936 graduate of National Mine. She married Alex Feldbauer in 1938. Dora enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, and bird watching. She took pleasure in traveling by train to Arizona with Gramps for the winter and spending time at Casey Lake.
Dora is survived by two sons: Alonzo (Patti) Feldbauer of Ishpeming, Norman (Sue) Feldbauer of Des Plaines, IL, son-in-law: George Graf of Phoenix, AZ, Grandsons: Joe (Nancy) Graf & Jim (Nadine) Graf of Peoria, AZ, Jim Feldbauer & Mark (Jean) Feldbauer of Ishpeming, Daniel (Tabitha) Feldbauer of Sparta, WI, Tim (Kristen) Feldbauer of Des Plaines, IL, Granddaughters: Linda (TR) Osborne of Peoria, AZ, Gretchen (Duane) Dennis of Ishpeming, Bridget & Katie Feldbauer of Des Plaines, IL Pam St.Aubin of Ishpeming, Tamara (Richard) Kangas of Negaunee, Great Grandchildren: Troy & Lindsay Osborne, Jacob, Rachel & Gabriel Graf, Mary Jean (Charles) Hollapa & Teri (Andy) Henson, Alex Feldbauer, Jesse, Dillon & Ashley Vial, Cory Dennis, Mackayla Feldbauer, Olivia, Sophia & Savannah Feldbauer, Mary & Alissa Stanaway, Great-great grandchildren: Elizabeth Snell & Emma Aho, Jared Arczynski & Mackenzie Vial, special nephew Joe Niecendorfor of Rochester, NY, Nieces: Sharon Stenglein of Marquette, Karen Mariette of Ishpeming, Judy Toman of Lansing along with several more nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Ruby Brown, husband Alex in 1984, a daughter Patricia Graf, 5 brothers: Albert (Goldie), Howard (Martha), Louie (Sadie), Clyde, & Norman, 3 sisters: Gertrude (Alonzo) Nichols, Hazel (William) Alderton, and Della (Clarence) Nault.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 2:00PM at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Tooman officiating. The family will greet friends and relatives from 12:00noon until the time of services at the funeral home. Interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
