Crystal Falls, MI- Donna M. Ebner, age 91 former Crystal Falls resident passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Aspirus Iron River Hospital, she was a resident of the Iron County Medical Care Facility.

Donna was born January 21, 1926 in McFarland to Max and Winnogene (Osborne) Mills Sr.. She grew up in Marquette where she graduated from Marquette Senior High School, class of 1944. After marrying Joseph "Bud" Ebner they moved to Crystal Falls where she worked as a kitchen helper for Crystal Falls-Forest Park School District.

Donna and Bud enjoyed their summer camp south of Ishpeming, and she enjoyed sewing and cooking. She attended Guardian Angels Church in Crystal Falls and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming.

Donna is survived by three children: Sandra (Russell) Bruneske of Milwaukee, WI, Betty Ebner of Gilbert, AZ and Scott (Lisa) Ebner of Gladstone, MI, a sister: Pauline (Arnold) Sawatske of Presque Isle, WI, 4 grandchildren: Jennifer, Jessica, Bree and Mary, 2 great grandchildren Jordan and Keane, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph "Bud" Ebner, a granddaughter Michele Bellefeuille, 5 sisters: Gertrude (Marvin) Thompson, Nina (Ray) Bromley, Dorothy (William) Woodbridge, Maxine (Gilbert) Masse and Virginia Bittner and 1 brother Max Mills Jr.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 am-11:00 am on Friday, July 14, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Fr. Dan Moll to officiating. A luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall.

Inurnment will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.
