Marquette – Donald O. Wald, age 57, of 316 Pine St. #115, Marquette passed away on Friday March 10, 2017 at his home in Marquette of an apparent heart attack.

Donald was born December 30, 1959 in Waukesha, WI the son of Shirley M. (Wrensch) and the late Owen W. Wald.  He grew up in Waukesha and was a graduate of the Waukesha North High School.  Donald served in the United States Air Force where he learned his trade as an electrician.  Following his honorable discharge on Nov 12, 1984 he began his career as an electrician in the telecommunications industry installing phone lines for many different phone companies.

Donald enjoyed Marquette, MI and all it had to offer, especially the views of Lake Superior, and trips to the local Thrift Shops.  Donald was one who always was there to help someone out.

Survivors include his mother Shirley Wald, two sons – Owen (Nicole) Wald and Brent (Jessica) Wald both of Indianapolis, IN, 2 brothers, a sister, 4 grandchildren and special friends Lori and Gene Uuro.

Honoring Don's wishes, cremation will take place with no public services.
