Obituary

Ishpeming- Donald F. "Dangle" Nault, age 84 Ishpeming resident passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Marquette General Hospital.

Donald was born March 9, 1926 in Ishpeming Twp to Florian & Virginia (LaBeau) Nault. He attended school in North Lake and served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

Don worked for Cleveland Cliffs for over 30 years working on the traveling crew as a welder, retiring from the Brownstone Shop in 1987. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dead River Campers Association, Greenwood American Legion and a life member of the Ishpeming V.F.W. Don was an avid hunter, being the last survivor of the original members of the section 33 hunting camp in Nestoria. Dangle was a Detroit Tiger fan; he enjoyed time with family at camp and watching his grandchildren in their many activities. He also enjoyed spending the winter months in Arizona.

Donald is survived by 2 daughters: Susan (Randy) Luoma and Beverlee (George) Goldsworthy both of Ishpeming, 2 sisters: Lois Bosio of Merrill, MI and Dorothy Gelmi of Mesa, AZ, 7 grandchildren: Dawn McGrady, Brandi (Jeff) Keenan, Jamie (Jennifer) Villeneuve, Donny (Emily) Goldsworthy, Carissa (Craig) Magnuson, Nicholas Luoma and Jeffery Luoma, 8 great grandchildren: Alex & Trevor McGrady, Tyler, Dylan, Zachary & Grady Villeneuve, Camery and Cody Magnuson, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his canine companion "Samantha". Don was preceded in death by his parents, wife Janice, a brother Albert Nault and sister Marguerite Demille.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am Saturday, September 18, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. James Challancin officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday from 9:30am until the time of service at 11:00am.

Military Honors will be conducted at the conclusion of the Funeral Mass.

Pallbearers will be Donald's grandchildren.
