Ishpeming Twp.- Don P. Larson, age 77 of 320 S. Rose St. Ishpeming passed away on Wednesday September 13, 2017 at his home while in the loving care of his family and UP Home Health and Hospice.

Don was born November 1, 1939 in Ishpeming to Phillip and Cecelia (DeCaire) Larson.  He graduated from Negaunee High School, class of 1957 and attended Northern Michigan University.  Don worked in the grocery business his entire working life.

Don was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming and a life member of the Ishpeming ELKS Lodge #447.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.  Don and Sharon enjoyed taking monthly trips to Green Bay to visit their son and his family.

Don is survived by his wife Sharon (Nault), whom he married on August 3, 1963, a son Kevin (Jacqueline) Larson of Green Bay, a sister Clarice (Thomas) Strong of Ontonagon, 3 grandchildren: Brittany, Briah and Evan, sister in law Debra Letcher of Clinton, MI, brother in law Gary (Gloria) Nault of Flowering Branch, GA, along with several nephews.  Don was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Keith Larson.

Don's family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday September 16, 2017 from 12:30-1:30 pm at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm with Fr. Dan Moll officiating.  Interment will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.

Don's family would like to give a special thanks to Dr Napier and the staff of Fresenius Dialysis Center for their wonderful care of Don during his 12 years of treatment. Also, a special thanks to the Marq-Tran bus drivers especially Rod and Cheryl for all their help and kindness.
