Ishpeming- Dolores Evelyn Williams, age 89 of 206 E. North St. Ishpeming passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday June 8, 2014 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility where she had been a resident for the past year.

Dolores was born August 22, 1924 in Ishpeming to the late Edwin & Flora Mae (Hicks) Lind. Dolores was a homemaker raising nine children. She enjoyed cooking, watching game show, doll collecting and had a special love for dogs.

Dolores is survived by 7 children: Dennis Williams of Norway, MI, Joan (Clayton) Miller of Iron Mountain, Robert (Grace) Williams of Monroe, MI, Donald Williams of Surprise, AZ, Debbie Richardson of Ishpeming, Kathy (Joseph) Carriere of Ishpeming and Daryl Williams of Ishpeming, 17 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter along with several nieces and nephews. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gordon Williams, sons Larry & James Williams, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

A private memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with Rev. Lauri O. Maki officiating.

Memorials may be directed to the Bethel Lutheran Church in memory of Dolores Williams.
