Michigamme, MI- Diane Coy, age 66 of 25640 Nelson St. Michigamme (Spurr Twp) passed away Wednesday May 2, 2018 at UP Health System Marquette.

Diane was born December 15, 1951 in Muskegon, MI, is a graduate of Union High School, class of 81'. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters & grandchildren. She was a good hearted woman who took care of/was cared for many though out her life. They became more than just friends, but became family! She became their 'mother' & 'sister' as if they were of her own. A Spirited woman, she was Feisty, Caring, Passionate and Imagination. She was a very artistic and loved to draw, paint, knit as well as many other hobbies. She took care of animals of all kinds and loved raising and caring for them.

She studies with our local Kingdom Hall and became a sister within the congregation. Here is where her heart found Jehovah and her soul found the peace she was seeking. There was a calmness that made her glow after every meeting she was able to attend.

Diane was preceded in death by her husband Everett "Mouse" Coy, and a sister Gloria Cates. She is survived by her mother Carol Laugivitz of St. Helen, MI, 2 daughters, Sonja Coy of Michigamme & Jennifer (William Jr) Pepin of Champion, 3 grandchildren: Timothy Coy, Benjamin Pepin and Walteanna Coy, her brother, Robert Burk, her Sisters children, Jason, Jamie & James Cates, all of MI. There are many we would like to mention, but there are to many loved ones to name. A private family service will be held at a future date.
