Ishpeming- Diana Jacqueline Winchester, age 78, Ishpeming resident, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Marquette County Medical Care Facility.

Diana was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on December 22, 1942, a daughter of Virginia (St Cyr) and the late Robert J. LaForest.

Diane enjoying bowling, playing bingo, and cribbage and spending time at the casino.

Diane is survived by 4 children: Cindy (Edwin) Wood of Metropolis, IL, Karen (Chris) Holmgren of Ishpeming, Brent (Delana) Winchester of Marion, IL, and Neil (Stephanie) Winchester of Marion, IL, her mother Virginia LaForest of Ishpeming, 2 brothers; Dennis LaForest of Champion and Robert (Jane) LaForest of Ishpeming, 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her best friend Annie Roberts.

Diane was preceded in death by her father Robert LaForest, daughter Pamela Young, grandson Paul Holmgren and sister-in-law Carrie LaForest.

Per Diana's wishes, there will be a private family ceremony at a later date.
