Gwinn- Diana M. Morcom, age 76, lifelong area resident, passed away on Friday June 2, 2023 at her home while in the loving care of her family and UP Home Health and Hospice.

Diana was born in Negaunee on August 29, 1946, daughter of the late Arvid Ilves and Dorothy Brosins. She grew up in Champion and graduated from Champion High School class of 1964. She married her husband of the past 55 years Gerald Morcom on July 1, 1967 at St. John's Catholic Church in Ishpeming.

Diana enjoyed throwing horseshoes where she participated in local leagues, was a great cook and will be remembered for her amazing spaghetti, and most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Diana is survived by her husband- Gerald "Jerry" "Hummer" Morcom Sr., two sons- Jerry (Renee') Morcom Jr., Brian (Pam) Morcom, granddaughter- Shannon (Pat) Rushford, two great grandchildren- Isaiah Patron, Autumn Rushford, along with two brothers and one sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son- Duane Morcom, twin sister- Dolores Carlson, along with numerous stepbrothers and sisters.

Diana's family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00 am until 1:00pm on Thursday June 8, 2023 at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm with Fr. Christian Flagstadt officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Ishpeming Cemetery.
