Ishpeming Twp- Dennis "Denny" R. Moyle, age 67 of 1560 S. Westwood Circle Ishpeming Twp, passed away surrounded by his loving family Wednesday September 28, 2016 at the UP Health System Marquette. Dennis was born June 9, 1949 in Ishpeming to Russell A. & Elizabeth K. (Ninnis) Moyle. Denny graduated from Negaunee High School, class of 1968 and worked as a corrections officer for 23 ½ years, retiring in 2009 from the Marquette Branch Prison. Denny was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Ishpeming and had retired with 20+ yrs. Of volunteer service on the Ishpeming Township Fire Department. He liked to show his support by participating in the Torch Run for Special Olympics with his fellow Law Enforcement officers. He was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed walking his dogs, "Willey" and "Harley". Denny was also a car enthusiast, he participated in the annual Buzz the Gut with his self detailed Chevy Camero, which he took much pride in. Denny is going to be missed by many. He cherished the times he had with his best friend Danny Ezrow. He had an endless love for his kids and wife and his grandchildren had a special spot in his heart. He could not have asked for a better caring, loving wife in Donna. Denny is survived by his wife, Donna (Gerou) Moyle, whom he married on July 14, 1973, 3 children: William Moyle and Jenny Moyle both of Ishpeming, son in law Erik Bosworth, 2 grandchildren: Tyrell Moyle and Tiana Bosworth, a sister Sharon (John) Mitterer of Colorado Springs, CO, along with 2 nephews. Denny was preceded in death by his parents: Russell & E. Kathleen Moyle. A memorial service for Denny will be celebrated at 5:00pm on Wednesday October 5, 2016 at the United Presbyterian Church in Ishpeming with Rev. Leon Jarvis officiating. Denny's family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 3:00pm until the time of service. A luncheon will be held in the church fellowship hall following the service.
