He served in multiple roles, including as a Military Police Officer and Personnel Security Guard in the Air Force, Volunteer Firefighter for Champion, Ishpeming, and Negaunee Townships. He started his passionate EMS career as an EMT, and quickly became a successful Paramedic, ultimately leading up to becoming Paramedic- Instructor/Coordinator. He was extremely proud and honored to have served as the Director of the School of Emergency Medical Technology at Marquette General Hospital for many years. He carried strength, resilience, and dedication throughout his life, and those who knew and loved him will continue to honor his memory in the years ahead.

His favorite role was that of “Papa” to his wonderful grandchildren, whom he spent many weekends with over the last couple years. He was incredibly proud of all his children and the lives they built, often speaking about them with the upmost pride, love and joy. His humor and generosity were one of a kind.
