Ishpeming – Dennis C. Emanuelson, age 85, of 803 N. Pine St. passed away Thursday August 25, 2017 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility while in the loving care of his family and nursing home staff.

Dennis was born February 13, 1932 to the late Clarence and Eva (Walimaa) Emanuelson. He was a life long resident of the Ishpeming area. Dennis worked in the construction field for 30 years. He liked to go hunting and fishing, loved his grandchildren, and enjoyed watching sports, especially the Detroit Lions, Red Wings, and Tigers.

Dennis is survived by his wife Marilyn (Brown) Emanuelson, 5 children- Mark Emanuelson, Stephen Emanuelson, Julie (Terry Bartle) Emanuelson, David (Angela) Emanuelson, Eric Emauelson, siblings- Bonnie Vial, Bruce Emanuelson, 7 grandchildren- Amber, David, Mark, Jessica, Samantha, Emma, Marilyn, 7 great grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers- Randy Emanuelson, Terry Emanuelson, sisters- Donna Beaudin, Sharon Emanuelson, 3 children- Brain Emanuelson, Keith Emanuelson, and Cheryl Emanuelson.

Per Dennis' wishes no services will be held. Internment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
