Ishpeming- Dennis "Porky" Bjork, age 63, lifelong area resident, passed away late on July 15, 2024 at UP Health System Marquette while in the loving care of his family, and hospital staff.

Dennis was born in Ishpeming on October 9, 1960, son of the late Allan and Alice (Lundin) Bjork. Dennis worked for Oberstar for many years, and proudly was part of the construction of the Superior Dome in Marquette. He loved fishing, hunting, and was an avid Detroit Lions Fan.

Dennis is survived by his 3 siblings- Russell Bjork, Scott (Carol) Bjork, Vickie (Jim) Skewis, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and niece Sarah Bjork.

Following Dennis' wishes, cremation will take place with a celebration of his life to take place at a later date.
