Ishpeming- Debra A. "Debbie" Vilona, age 63 of 760 W. Division St. Ishpeming passed away Sunday October 14, 2018 at Michigan Medicine- University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Debra was born June 28, 1955 in Ishpeming to Wilford and Betty (LaForest) Bond.  Debbie graduated from Negaunee High School and received her LPN degree from Northern Michigan University.  She worked at Bell Memorial Hospital for 25 years and treated her patients like family.  Following her employment at Bell Memorial she worked many many years at the Ojibway Casino in Marquette.

Debbie had a joy for any kind of animals and loved the outdoors.   She would light up a room with her presence alone.

Debbie is survived by her husband James Vilona, whom she married on October 27, 1990, 2 daughters Tracy (fiancé Dean Vosburgh) Vilona-Lambright of Waynesboro, PA, and Kristy (Marty) Brown of Waynesboro, PA a sister Linda (James) Larson of Negaunee, 3 granddaughters: Brianna Cunningham, Karlee and Sophia Brown  a niece Jamie (Dan) Skewis, a nephew Dean (Gwen) Larson, great niece Jillian, great nephews Luke, Brayden and Max. an uncle Terry (Janet) LaForest of Ishpeming, along with her dog Michael and 2 cats Vinnie and Ricky.  Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and an uncle Jack LaForest.

A private graveside service will be held at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
