Ishpeming - Dawn C. Mills, age 36, of 427 N. 7th St. Ishpeming, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at her home.

Dawn was born in Rochester, MI on July 23, 1984, a daughter of Gary R. Mills and the late Charlot M. (Wentworth) Mills. She moved to this area at a young age and was a graduate of the Ishpeming High School.  Dawn worked as a bartender locally until she was no longer able due to her health. She will be remembered as a vibrant soul and a devoted mother. She enjoyed playing softball, was an avid animal lover, and loved outdoor activities including fishing and hunting.

Dawn is survived by a daughter Paris Steele; a son Damion Mills; her father Gary Mills of Ishpeming; three brothers – Todd, Troy, and Ryan Mills all of Ishpeming; a sister Daniale Mills of Ishpeming, grandmother Gina Wentworth of Warren; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Charlot Mills and an infant son Madox Mills.

A graveside celebration of Dawn's life will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Ishpeming Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her son.
