ISHPEMING, MI - David Steven Stratton, beloved father, and grandfather, passed away at his residence on January 4th, 2024, at the age of 71.

David was born in Marquette, Michigan on December 9th, 1952, the son of Ferne (Rogers) and William Stratton. After graduating high school in 1970, David worked for Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. for 27 years. David loved riding his Harley Davidson around the country, specifically trips to San Diego, CA, where he spent part of his childhood, the rest being at his family's home on Bat Lake in Republic. David later discovered a passion for video games and collectibles.

David is survived by his daughter, Erin (Steven) Bertucci; grandchildren Anastasia (Jarrod) Bjork, Alyssa Bjork, and Anthony (Katie) Suardini; and great granddaughter Tessa Suardini. He is also survived by siblings William (Cathy) Stratton of Republic, Edward Stratton of California, and Claire Stratton of Marquette; nieces and nephew Kelley Stratton, Melanie Carter, Adam Stratton, and Jenny Seagers. David was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law Sandra Stratton; and niece Rayina Seagers.

A private celebration of David's life will be held at a later date.
