Ishpeming, MI- David John Schneider, Jr., age 84, Ishpeming resident passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at his home.

David was born in Chicago, IL on September 4, 1934, a son of the late Marie (Funk) Schneider and David J. Schneider, Sr.  He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years retiring as a SSGT from the K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base.  David also worked for the Ishpeming Police Department as a detective and Sergeant.

David is survived by a son Charles (Karoline) Schneider, of Vienna, Austria, a sister Gladys Lundberg, former daughter in law Renee Schneider and 6 grandchildren.  David was preceded in death by his parents, wife Beverly Jean Schneider, a son David Schneider III and a daughter Connie Louison.

Honoring David's wishes a private service will be held with Military Honors accorded by the U.S. Air Force Honors Team.
