Ishpeming- David J. Schneider III, age 49 of 30341 Co. Rd. 581 Ishpeming, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the Bell Hospital in Ishpeming.

David was born on June 1, 1958 the son of David Schneider Jr. and the late Beverly (Beck) Schneider in Escanaba, MI. David was a life long area resident and an explosives expert working for Callahan Mining. He also worked for Northern Michigan Aviation for 8 years as a mechanic. David then became the manager of Tire-Lube express at Wal-Mart. He was a pilot and built his own plane. He was a member of the EAA in Oshkosh and enjoyed playing on his computer. David also enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, snowboarding, hunting, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and boating.

David is survived by his father David J. Schneider Jr. of Ishpeming, children: Nichole Schneider of Ishpeming and David J. Schneider IV of Ishpeming, a sister: Connie (James) Louison of Chugiak, Alaska, a brother Charles (Caroline) Schneider of Vienne, Austria, a special friend Terry Peterson of Ishpeming, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home at 2:00p.m. with Fr. Jim Challancin officiating.

Friends and relatives may greet David's family from 11:00a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Inurnment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
