Ishpeming- David F. Tousignant, age 66, whose sunrise was on April 6, 1952, had his final sunset on April 1, 2019 while at his home in the loving care of his family and the UP Home Health and Hospice.

David was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church in Negaunee. He worked many jobs including a mechanic at Cliffs for 32 years, followed by maintenance at the casino. He was known by many as being a jack of all trades, he was a talented artist, wood worker, and was always very helpful and generous to others. David was very patient, was a good story teller, and had a great sense of humor. His grandchildren were the loves of his life, even in sickness, if his grandchildren were around or on the phone, he would always perk up and smile at their sight or the sound of their voices.
David is survived by his wife Arlene Tousignant, 3 children- Susan (Josh) Quigley, David Tousignant, Steven Tousignant, sisters- Susan (Tom) Bitner, Cheryl (Bob) Marietti, aunt- Jane Zimmerman, grandchildren- Joseph (Kristina Seif) Quigley, Desmond Quigley, Jasper Quigley, and great grandson- Elliot Quigley. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother Genevieve Tousignant, and brother-in-law- Robert Illikainen.
