Michigamme- Dale E. Krummi, age 68 passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Werner Creek Residential Care Facility in Palmer. Dale is now at peace after a courageous battle with cancer. Our thanks to U.P. Home Health and Hospice for helping Dale.

Dale was born in Michigamme, MI to Edwin and Eleanor (Maki) Krummi on March 13, 1939. He graduated from Michigamme High School in 1956. He joined the Navy shortly after graduation and was honorably discharged in 1960.

Dale went to work for Detroit Edison Power Company. He married Marie and they had a son Jeffrey. He retired from Detroit Edison and traveled in the South with his second wife Jeanette. He moved back to Michigamme in 1995 to help Mom.

Dale was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother Eleanor Kulju, 2 sisters: Jean (Wendell) Kinsey and Karen (William) Moore, all of Michigamme, 3 nephews William Moore, Dean Moore and Jeffrey Kinsey, and 2 nieces Glenda Leach and Wendy Negri. He is survived also by 2 grandnephews and 3 grandnieces and 1 uncle George (Violet) Krummi. "We will miss you Dale."

A private memorial service will be held at a late date.
