Ishpeming – Dale V. Holmgren, age 52, of 808 E. North St. Apt. #3, Ishpeming passed away unexpectedly on Saturday June 16, 2007 at his home in Ishpeming. Dale had been in ill health for the past 10 years.


Dale was born February 20, 1955 the son of the late Carl and Lois (Hanson) Holmgren. Dale had attended the Ishpeming Schools and went on to work for Ely Township and the City of Ishpeming, prior to his illness. Dale enjoyed playing the Guitar, and had been a member of the Renaissance Fair Band and the Music Time Band. He liked to spend his time fishing and also was active in the Ishpeming Pool League.


Dale is survived by his fiancée Betty Mitchell of Ishpeming, a daughter Dakota, a sister Laverne (Mark) LeClair of Ishpeming; 3 brothers – Ken (Kathy) Holmgren of Marquette, Dennis (Karolyn) Holmgren of Flint and Terry (Linda) Holmgren of Eagle River, WI; along with several nieces and nephews.


The family will greet friends and relatives from 10:30am until the time of services at 12:00noon on Tuesday June 19, 2007 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with the Rev. Warren Geier to officiate. A luncheon will follow at the Trinity Lutheran Church Hall.
