Ishpeming, MI - Dale J. Corlett, age 92, lifelong Ishpeming resident, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at UP Health System Bell.

Dale was born in Ishpeming on August 28, 1930, a son of the late Charlotte "Lottie" (Williams) and James  Corlett. He grew up in Ishpeming and was a graduate of the Ishpeming High School, Class of 1948. Dale served in the U.S. Army from Dec. 1954 - Dec. 1956 having been stationed in Germany. After the service he returned to Ishpeming and worked for Cleveland Cliffs Iron Co. for many years, retiring as a general foreman.

Survivors include his wife Mollie Corlett of Ishpeming, daughter, Paula Corlett of Lansing; son, Jay (Diane) Corlett of Griffith, IN; two step daughters, Cheryl (Michael) Hill of Neenah, WI; Cynthia (Douglas) Dickerson of Phoenix, AZ; step son, Eric (Rachelle) Beerling of Ishpeming; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, with two more on the way. Dale was preceded in death by his first wife Lorraine along with two sons - James and Jeffrey Corlett.

Per Dale's wishes, cremation will take place with no public services.
