Hubbell, MI- Cynthia L. "Cookie" Klein, age 66 of Hubbell passed away Wednesday May 27, 2015 at UP Health System Marquette where she been a patient for 1 day.

Cookie was born June 28, 1948 in Laurium to the late Lawrence & Fran (Amos) Klein. She graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School, class of 1966.

Cookie ran an in home day care, prior to her workings as a nurse's aide at Our Lady of Mercy Nursing Home. More recently she worked as an accounts payable clerk at Peninsula Copper Industries where she worked for 21 years. Cookie enjoyed her family, her pets, reading, and being outdoors fishing, camping and especially gardening.

Cookie is survived by 2 daughters: Lori (Todd) LaRoux of Lake Linden, Jeri (Jon) Mommaerts of Marquette, a sister Carolyn (David) Koski of Hubbell, 2 brothers: William "Ozzie" (Janet) Klein and Robert (June) Klein both of Lake Linden, 6 grandchildren: John & Nicholas Monette, Josh & Kristyn LaRoux, Tony & Andrew Fedrizzi, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and her former husband John Hosang of Lake Linden. Cookie was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Fran Klein.

Honoring Cookie's wishes, cremation will take place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
