Ishpeming- Cynthia L. Alspach, age 62, passed away on January 28, 2023 at the Trillium Hospice House after a short battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving husband of 30 years Doug, son Alex, family, and Lake Superior Life Care and Hospice.

Cindy enjoyed reading, writing, flowers, gardening, and berry picking. She was a graduate of Westwood High School, class of 1978. Cindy served 4 years in the Navy from 1979 until 1982. She worked as a teacher's aide at NICE school district for several years.

Cindy is survived by her husband- Douglas Alspach, son- Alex Alspach, siblings- Skip (Marci) Lyons, Virginia (Tony) Tippett, Karen Poirier all of Ishpeming, Patrick (Tracy) Lyons of Oshkosh, WI, mother-in-law- Linda Alspach, brother-in-law- Dan Alspach of Spencer, IA, sister-in-law- Tracy Grover of Milford, IA, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts. She was preceded in death by her parents- Charles and Kay Lyons, and 2 brothers-in-law- Randy and Tony Alspach.

Cindy's family will greet relatives and friends on at Wesley United Methodist Church in Ishpeming from 1:00pm until 2:00pm on Wednesday February 1, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm with Rev. Robert Freysinger officiating. Military honors will follow the service and will be accorded by the United States Navy. Coffee and dessert will be served in the church hall following the services. Burial will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.
