Ishpeming, MI – Connie Ann (Barbiere) Vial, age 76, of 1735 Glendora Lane Ishpeming, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Froedtert Hospital in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Connie was born in Marquette, on January 19, 1946, a daughter of the late Virginia (Carlson) and Bruno Barbiere. Connie grew up in Ishpeming and was a graduate of the Ishpeming High School, Class of 1964. She married David L. Vial on August 19, 1967, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ishpeming.

Connie enjoyed spending time with family who she dearly loved, along with playing games on her i-pad, bible study group and lunch with friends, baking, and making her famous meatballs! Connie was a member of the Hope Free Evangelical Lutheran Church and a former member of the NorthIron Church.

Survivors include her husband, David L. Vial of Ishpeming; three daughters, Marci (Christopher) Nelson of Peshtigo, WI; Christy (Jay) Blewett; and Katie Vial both of Ishpeming; a son, Cory (Paula) Vial of Ishpeming; 10 grandchildren - Ronald (Amanda) Saari Jr., Alyssa Saari, Hailee Saari, Taylor Blewett, Bryce (Maria) Blewett, Morgan Blewett, Shae Blewett, Chandler Vial, Averie Vial and Karigan Vial; 4 great grandchildren - Lillian Saari, Lennon Blewett, Addison Schiefel and Ashlynn Saari. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Philip Barbiere; a sister Kathleen Barbiere; infant brother John and infant sister Frances K.

Per Connie's wishes, cremation will take place with a private celebration of life service to be held by family at a later date.
