Ishpeming- Concetta (Connie) Florence Brewer (Carello) of Ishpeming passed away on October 26, 2025 at the age of 78. She was born July 10, 1947 to Dominic and Joyce (Kennedy) Carello.

Connie attended nursing courses at Northern Michigan University and worked as a home healthcare aide for many years. She comforted countless patients and their families with compassion and dignity.

Connie is remembered for her energy, strength, independence and wisdom. Perceptive and thoughtful, she adored family gatherings and spending time with her friends. Connie was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Corey Mattila.

She is survived by her sons; Don Mattila, Mark (Marisa) Mattila and Erik J Mattila; brothers Dominic and Pete Carello; Grandchildren; Melissa Campbell, Jessica Wesche, Rachel (Jace) Mattila, Tia (Jacob) Mattila, Kayla Kaukola, Korey Kaukola and Kadie Kaukola, great grandchildren; Dylan, Lacey, Corbin, Danielle, Dawson, Annabelle, Scarlett, Rilyn and many extended family members and friends.

Connie's family will greet relatives and friends to celebrate her life on Saturday December 6, 2025 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home, following, all are invited to Pasqualis in Negaunee to continue celebrating Connie's life.
