Ishpeming – Clifford G. "Jeff" Jacobs, age 84, of 211 E. Pearl St. Ishpeming passed away on Tuesday June 13, 2017 at UP Health System Marquette where he had been a patient for the past week.

Jeff was born August 17, 1932 in Ishpeming the son of the late James and Florence (Beer) Jacobs. He attended the Ishpeming High School and had served in the Michigan National Guard. Jeff worked for several years for the City of Ishpeming in several different capacities. Following his work for the city he was employed by Cleveland Cliffs Iron Co. where he worked for a total of 25 years. He was mainly involved in the engineering dept., doing surveying at various properties. He had been active locally with the Jaycees, and at the Wawonowin Country Club where he was a past board member.

Survivors include a niece Jeanette (Stanley) Lindberg of Ishpeming, Nephews – Harold (Carol) Moilanen of Glendale, WI and Kenneth (Marilyn) Argall of Ishpeming, and special friend Frank Bell of Ishpeming, along with several cousins.

As Jeff was a private person, a private graveside service is scheduled at the Ishpeming Cemetery with the Rev. JJ Mannschreck to officiate.
