Ishpeming – Clementine Pauline (Rovedo) Derocha, age 86 passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at her home in the company of her family.

Tina was born October 6, 1928 in Ishpeming, Michigan. She spent her childhood in the close knit community of North Lake, and graduated from Ishpeming High School.

Tina worked as a "gossard girl" from 1945 to 1951, when she married William Harold Derocha and settled in Ishpeming. There they raised five children. Tina was a woman of great faith and instilled that in her children and grandchildren through a lifetime of song, food, and prayer. Forever and vigilant.

Tina shared her time between her home in Ishpeming, her camp in Champion, and her winter home in Apache Junction, Arizona. She kept close to her family in Italy with visits and letters. Her Loving and faithful nature went before her. Those of us in her presence understood her humble power.

Tina is survived by her 5 children- Mary Catherine of De Pere, WI, Michael (Lana) Derocha of West Ishpeming, Paul Derocha of Ishpeming, Rodger (Carrie) Derocha of Milwaukee, WI, and Joseph Derocha of Champion. 11 grandchildren- William, Anthony, and Elizabeth Marie Crone, Chelsea and Travis Derocha, Olivia, William and Joseph Derocha, Brian and Eric Bartle, and Tanya Pihaylic. Along with 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Tina was preceded in death by her husband William Derocha, her parents, Desiderio and Catherine Rovedo, her sisters and brothers- Angie Bussone, Lydia Jandron, Dante Rovedo, Helen Walberg, and Daniel Rovedo.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 3:30-4:30pm at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 4:30pm with Fr. Dan Moll to officiate. Interment will take place at the Champion Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tina's grandsons.

The family would like to thank Fr. Greg Heikkala, Fr. Dan Moll, Dr. Shawna Gleason and the team at Lake Superior Hospice for making our mother's last weeks the best possible.
