Ishpeming Township - Cheryl Ann Frederickson, age 62, passed away on January 30, 2025, due to complications from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Cheryl was born on December 21, 1962, the daughter of Donald and Kathryn (Lundin) Frederickson. She was a graduate of the Westwood High School, Class of 1981 and attended Northern Michigan University. She loved being by the water especially Lake Superior and enjoyed camping, Cheryl also enjoyed regular sessions with her card playing friends. She was also known for her keen sense of humor and her quick wit. Cheryl held a variety of jobs including serving as a nanny for a family in Connecticut, Pitney Bowes office machines (20+ years), The Mining Journal, and most recently Great Lakes Recovery.

Cheryl is survived by her mother Kaye Frederickson, aunt Beth Lundin, many cousins and a dear friend Phyllis Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her father Donald in 2011, her brother Donny in 1986, uncles and aunts, Francis (Joyce), Robert, and Charles (Tina) Lundin, Marion Frantti, Raymond (Eleanor) Frederickson along with grandparents Francis and Mary Lundin and Henry and Elsie Frederickson.

A memorial service will take place at 1:00pm on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at the Bethany Lutheran Church, 715 Mather Ave., Ishpeming with the Rev. J.M. Mills to officiate. A luncheon will follow in the church hall.
