Ishpeming, MI- Charlotte Ann Valenti, age 83, life-long Ishpeming resident passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Eastwood Nursing Center, Negaunee.

Charlotte was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on May 2, 1941, a daughter of the late Arne and Gladys (Tremayne) Manninen. Charlotte graduated from Ishpeming High School, Class of 1959.

Charlotte worked at the Bell Memorial Hospital in the dietary department for many years. She enjoyed playing softball in the Ishpeming Women's League, bowling, cross country and downhill skiing, square dancing and was known for her pasty making.

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 63 years, Victor R. Valenti, whom she married on September 23, 1961, two sons; Mark Valenti and Christopher Valenti, three grandchildren; Andrew Michael Vito Valenti, Lily Maria Valenti, and Michael Victor Valenti, along with several nieces and nephews.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her Parents, two brothers: Robert and Richard Manninen and a sister Carol Lindeman.

Charlotte's services will be held privately at a later date.
