Ishpeming- Charles L. Lundin, age 86, longtime Ishpeming resident, passed away, Thursday, March 28, 2019, at D. J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette.

Charles was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on April 19, 1932, a son of the late Elsie (Tremayne) and Lester Lundin.  He served in the U.S. Army as a Cpl receiving the Occupational Medal and National Defense Service Medal.

Charles worked as a carpenter.  He was a former member of the Ishpeming ELKS Lodge.  He enjoyed spending time with family, was an avid hunter, Green Bay Packer fan and U of M fan.

Charles is survived by a son, Gary (Julie) Lundin, of Marquette; 2 grandchildren; Ryan Lundin- Marquette, Brooke (Curt) Kemp- Negaunee, two sisters, Marian Medlyn, of Ishpeming, and Nancy Owens, of Illinois, a brother, John Lundin, of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.  Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, wife Donna and a sister Alice Bjork.

Honoring Charlie's wishes there will be no public services.
