Negaunee – Charles L. Karnack, age 69, of 137 Heritage Dr., Negaunee passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 at UP Health System Marquette.

Charles was born in Crystal Falls on June 16, 1950, son of the late Rena (Collicelli) and Charles H. Karnack.  He was a graduate of the Crystal Falls High School, Class of 1969 and had attend Northern Michigan University. While in Crystal Falls Chuck was a member of the Crystal Falls Fire Dept. Chuck moved to this area in 1982 and worked as a Control Room Operator for CCI at the Tilden Mine for 30 years prior to his retirement.  Chuck also was the manager of the Heritage Dr. Apartments in Negaunee Twp. for 38 years.

Charles is survived by a son, Justin C. (Jessica) Karnack and a daughter, Carolyn (Chad) Collette both of Ishpeming; his longtime companion, Pamela Daugherty of Negaunee; sister, Jane (Harold) Hendrickson, of Crystal Falls; grandchildren, Preston Collette, Andrew Polini, Anthony Karnack, Joshua Karnack, Noah Barry and Lillian Karnack; nieces, Debbie (Stephen) Gonzalez and Denise (Chuck) Davidenko. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Charles Karnack Jr. and a grandson Justin Karnack Jr.

A celebration of Chuck's life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with family greeting relatives and friends from 11:00am – 1:00pm.
