Republic, MI/Stevens Point, WI- Carole M Erickson, age 52 of 601 Sixth Ave, Stevens Point, WI, and former Republic resident passed away on Friday, September 28, 2007 at the Bell Hospital in Ishpeming shortly after being admitted.

Carole was the daughter of Arvid & Donna (Wixtrom) Erickson, born December 25, 1954. She graduated from Republic-Michigamme High School in 1973 and from Lake Superior College in 1975. She worked at Lake Superior College, Michigan DNR in Harvey, Probation & Parole Office in Marquette, and then moved to California for several years, working at different law firms. She also lived in Ohio, Tennessee, Ishpeming and for the last 31/2 years in Stevens Point, WI, working for the Anderson, O'Brien, Bertz, Skrenes & Golla Law Firm. She enjoyed doing many crafts, cooking, & baking and making friends. She dearly loved her two dogs, Button & Bose.

Carole is survived by her mother Donna Erickson of Republic, 3 brothers David (Rita) Erickson of Jackson, MI, Robert (Martha) Erickson of Columbus, IN and Richard (Mary) Erickson of Republic, 2 sisters Beverly (Pat) Carriere of Stevens Point, WI and Dolores (Edwin) Walker of Hendersonville, TN, along with several nieces and nephews. Carole was preceded in death by her father Arvid in December 2006, maternal grandparents Seth & Mae Wixtrom, & paternal grandparents Jalmer & Annie Erickson

Funeral services will be held 11:00a.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Witch Lake with Pastor Jim Janofski officiating. The family will greet friends and relatives on Tuesday at the church from 9:30a.m. until the time of service at 11:00a.m.

Burial will be at Northland Chapel Gardens
