On July 14 Dr. Carol Ann McCreary, age 74, passed from this life. Now freed from Parkinsons, she can again camp. fish, and make elaborate meals for her family. During life Carol worked with hospice patients. When on her own, she camped excelling at setting out tarps. For years we camped the Bois Brule River during the opening and close of trout season. Carol managed our campsite. Her expertise was stretching tarps so no one need get wet walking to their tent or sitting down to dinner. There was always coffee. Carol, a flyfisher, threw an accurate line. Carol was always kind. She fully endorsed the saying that if you cannot say something good about someone, say nothing. She never, that I know of, ever broke that rule.
