Obituary
Republic - Carmen Christine Campbell passed away peacefully on February 20th, 2015. She was born on July 5, 1934.
Carmen was a life-long resident of Republic, Michigan. She was a quiet, peaceful soul who enjoyed reading, painting, and traveling with her husband Lee to Florida where they would spend their winters in the sunshine. She volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul in her spare time, enjoyed listening to Johnny Mathis music and loved Betty Boop collectables. She will live forever in our hearts.
Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Charles Campbell. She is survived by her four children, David (Linda) Vernier from Ishpeming, MI, Ronald Vernier from Negaunee, MI, Jennifer (Allen) Peura from Kaukauna, WI, Michele (Jack) Vial from Green Bay, WI, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming, MI at 1:00PM with a memorial service held at 2:00PM with the Rev. Terri Branstrom to officiate.
