Ishpeming- Carl W. Jackson, age 78, longtime Marquette County resident, passed away on Sunday February 23, 2025 at the Christian Park Village in Escanaba where he had been residing.

Carl was born in Marquette on July 8, 1946, son of the late Carl O. Jackson and Alice I. (Murphy) Jackson. He Honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Carl will be remembered for his enjoyment of the outdoors.

Carl is survived by several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private family burial will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.
