Bruce S Sanders (82). It is with sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Bruce S. Sanders. Bruce passed peacefully on February 14, 2025, with loved ones at his side.

Bruce suffered from a quick onset of irreversible kidney failure. He was born on November 28, 1942, in Ishpeming, Michigan to Charles and Harriet Sanders.

He was a graduate of St. Norbert College, and was a high school teacher in West DePere.

He was known for his love of sports, especially sports teams in Michigan. Before moving to Henderson, Nevada in 2023 he was an active member at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming singing in the choir and as a lector.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Bernadine Sanders, and brothers Robert and Charles "Chas" Sanders.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Sandra (Hill) Sanders, caring daughter Catherine (Dewey) Ellis, cherished grandson Zachary (Margaret) Ellis, and sister Sharon Beale, along with other family members and many close friends and acquaintances.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 6, 2025, from 10am to 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming, Michigan immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
