Ishpeming, MI- Brian James Watts, age 63, Ishpeming resident passed away Friday, June 30, 2023, at UP Health System Marquette.

Brian was born in Millbury, Massachusetts on April 10, 1960, a son of the late Paul T. and Maria L. (Pinho) Watts.

Brian worked as a diesel mechanic for AMI Truck Leasing in Worcester, MA, retiring in 2001. Brian enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, home repair work and working on anything mechanical, especially automobiles.

Brian is survived by his wife Darlene P. (Bates) Watts, whom he married on July 10, 1999, two stepsons Nicholas Bates-Grondine, and Christopher Rose, a granddaughter; Arielle Richardson, a great granddaughter; Rosie, a brother Robert (Maryanne) Watts and a sister Doris Weberly. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother John Watts.

Honoring Brian's wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no public service.
