Ishpeming- Borghild J. Thexton, age 89 formerly of 726 E. Empire St. & 111 Bluff St. Ishpeming passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at the Mather Nursing Center.

Borghild was born January 12, 1918 in Ishpeming to Edward & Albertine (Anderson) Trondson. Borghild worked for 32 years at the H.W. Gossard Company, retiring in 1976 as a department head- instructor.

Borghild was a life long resident of Ishpeming. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church where she was active in various church activity groups. Borghild belonged to the Gossard Seniors. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and enjoyed plastic canvas work.

Borghild is survived by 3 children: Williams S. (Carol) Thexton of Naples, FL, Bernard "Ben" (Arlene) Thexton of Ishpeming and Carolyn "Sue" (Leigh) Anderson of Ishpeming, 5 grandchildren: Connie (David) Giese, Arlene (Pat Eman) Thexton, William N. Thexton, Derek (Catherine) Thexton and Craig (Chris) Thexton, 6 great grandchildren along with several nieces & nephews. Borghild was preceded in death by her husband William H. in 1986, 3 sisters and 6 brothers.

Funeral services will be held 11:00a.m. Friday, April 13, 2007 at the Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Warren Geier officiating. Burial will be in the Ishpeming Cemetery.

Friends may call the Trinity Lutheran Church on Friday from 10:00a.m. until the time of service.

Pallbearers will be Bill Thexton, Dave Giese, Pat Eman, Buddy Peterson, Gary & Bradley Baldini.
