Ishpeming- Beverly Ann Scott, age 86, of Ely Township passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at UP Health System Marquette.

Beverly was born in Marquette, Michigan on October 15, 1934, a daughter of the late Floyd E. and Merle (Gustafson) Burk.

Beverly grew up in Big Bay, and later moved to lower Michigan where she graduated from Ann Arbor High School.  She worked for the University of Michigan.  Beverly married Richard Scott on June 18, 1955 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Ann Arbor.

Beverly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards, bus trips, doing puzzles and was an avid bowler.  She had a special love for animals.  She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ishpeming.

Beverly is survived by her husband Richard Scott, 5 children; Jeffrey (Melanie) Scott, Terri (John) Sparkman, Mark (Lorie Carr) Scott, Randall (Shannon) Scott and Toni (James) Deere, 2 sisters; Judy LeBeau and Mary Jones, a half-brother Paul Nesbitt, 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren with 5 more expected soon, along with numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Margaret Mueller.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 325 S. Pine St. Ishpeming, MI 49849 in memory of Beverly.
