Ishpeming, MI - Betty June McWilliams, age 93, of Ishpeming passed away on Tuesday, August 4th, 2020 at Marquette County Medical Care Facility.

Betty was born in Ishpeming on June 15, 1927, a daughter of the late Margaret (Beale) and Charles Garceau.

Betty worked many years as the manager of Woolworth's shoe department. Upon Woolworths closing she was hired at Pranges/Younkers in their receiving department Where she worked well into her 80's before she finally retired.

Betty enjoyed baking, coffee time, watching the Packers, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children; Deborah (Carl) Underwood of Ishpeming, and Pam (Steve) DeLorensi of Green Bay, Grandchildren; Ryan, Ashley, Crystal, Jessica, Danny, and Mindy, and several Great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Sandy (Roger) LaFreniere of Traverse City, and Dave Garceau of Ishpeming.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years Keith, and siblings; Dolly Nyman, Nellie Magoon, Joe, Charles Jr., Walter William, and Robert Garceau.

As she requested private burial will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
