Ishpeming - Bernice "Bee" Enderle, 75 died April 15, 2020 at her home in Ishpeming, MI under the loving care of her daughter and U.P. Home Health and Hospice.
Bernice "Bee" Laura Mattson was born in Republic, MI to Laura (Lyyski) and Frederick Mattson on April 18, 1944. She graduated from Republic High School in 1962. After graduation she worked at the HW Gossard Co. for 2 years and then at NMU for 4 years. On November 16, 1968 she married James Enderle whom she met while he was stationed at KI Sawyer AFB. On August 20, 1969 a son, Gregg Allen was born. In June of 1971, Bee and Jim moved to Taylor, ND where they bought and operated a dairy farm for 21 years. A daughter, Michele Lynn was born on April 26, 1975. Bee enjoyed life in Taylor, ND, farming and milking cows. She always wanted a son and then a daughter – being a mother was the most important thing in her life and they brought her much joy throughout the years. Divorce followed in 2001. Bee returned to her home state in 2008 to Ishpeming, where she has resided since.
She is survived by her children Gregg (Toni) of Puyallup, WA and Michele (Dwayne) Waterman of Canton, GA; grandchildren Chelsie Enderle, Cody Enderle, Jillian Waterman and James Waterman; great granddaughters Sivia and Dakota; brothers Clifford (Karen) Mattson and Wilfred (Ann) Mattson; sisters Aurelia Matheny and Luana Wixtrom. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Bernard and Lennard.
A graveside service will take place at a later date at the Republic Cemetery.
