Republic, MI- Barbara Ann Shepeard, age 73 of 577 Magnetic Ave Republic, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at her home in Republic.
Barbara was born August 9, 1940 in Carter, WI to James & Verna (Surprise) Bodoh. While a resident in Republic, Barb worked as a cook at the Summer Place Restaurant. She was an animal lover, who enjoyed her dogs and watching birds. She also enjoyed baking and cooking, knitting and crocheting. She had a love for her many friends.
Barb is survived by her children and step children: Don Lawrence and Steve Lawrence both of Menominee, MI Rich (Gayelynne) Lawrence of East Troy, WI, Susan (Roger) Whitehall of Anderson, MO, Pamela (Peter) Pestka of Ontonagon, MI and Robert (Maggie) Shepeard of Republic, a sister Norma (Richard) of Milwaukee, a brother James (Mary) Bodoh of Milwaukee, 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ted, a son Scott Lawrence, a brother Clayton and a sister Connie.
Barb's family will greet relatives and friends from 2:00-3:00pm on Friday, November 8, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Republic where a memorial service will be held at 3:00pm.
